This morning we continue our trip...we are off to visit the Voringfossen waterfall 80km from our campsite by the RV7. It will take us 1h15 to get there. This waterfall is over 180m high and flows into the Mabadalen Gorge not far from the town of Eidfjord.

The weather is nice and the temperature is around 30 degrees...beautiful day in perspective. Before arriving at the Voringfossen waterfall, we must follow the Hardangervidda plateau. An arid territory where few trees grow, only a green tundra carpets the ground...in the middle of this green, huge lakes bring a touch of blue to this wild landscape, beaten by the winds.

You can see here and there cairns placed by tourists who want to mark their passages. A good opportunity to take cool pictures...and to build our own cairns "for eternity"

Finally we arrive at our destination...Voringfossen. Above the waterfall, many tourists marvel at this open-air spectacle...tons of water roar as they fall to the bottom of the gorge before reaching further to Eidjford one of the largest fjords in Norway, the Hardengerfjord .

Since 2020, a footbridge has been installed above the top of the waterfall...unfortunately I did not have the opportunity to see it. After spending a long time watching this marvel of nature, we head back to Tvinde where another waterfall awaits us at the foot of our campsite. Before that we go up towards Eidjford, then turn left towards Brimmes along the fjord on our right. Soon we will cross this fjord on one of the many structures in Norway.

In this regard, a small particularity of the country...it is not only in France...the works (bridges, tunnels or ferry) are chargeable...You must take out an autopass subscription...Beware of the intentional oversights or not... cameras film you and send your ticket directly to your home... so stay in good standing so you don't have any big surprises when you get home. The work is over, a superb sight to cross the fjords in this way. We are heading towards Tvinde. At the end of the evening we are at good port. After parking the motorhome, we head towards the waterfall a few meters from us, its height is more than 110m...the noise is deafening, I'm a little scared for the night. However, some campers have settled at the foot of the waterfall... Good luck to them

All in all, the night goes well lulled by the waterfall, you might think you hear the rain falling on the roof. I fall asleep thinking that tomorrow we will visit one of the most beautiful fjords in Norway classified by Unesco
