Travel in France
Cross France from North to South, from West to East and you will see the diversity of the landscapes encountered.
Each region has its interest. you can go around it clockwise.
In the far North West, the beaches of Dunkirk, an endless strip of fine sand sometimes swept by the winds where the sail carts race. Further east the Ardennes, valleys, forests, and winding rivers, wild nature reigns there. we continue towards the East... Champagne and Alsace reveal vineyards as far as the eye can see... the pride of France known throughout the world... We turn towards the South, the Jura... diversity of landscapes, land of lakes and small mountains. Further south Lyon 2nd metropolis of France between the Alps and the Massif Centrale, following, a little to the east, the Alps, magnificent, grandiose, where sport and nature go hand in hand.. finally here we are on the shores of the Mediterranean after having skirted the Gorges du Verdon and the former city of the Popes, Avignon . Côte d'Azur, the sun, the sea, the holidays and Marseille... the beauty of its coast is no longer to be demonstrated, warmth and sweetness of life. Let's cross the Mediterranean for a few seconds and reach Corsica, the island of beauty that lives up to its name, between sea and mountains, there is something for everyone. Back on the continent, here we are in Occitania, Montpellier, a student city bathed in sunshine, then Narbonne, at the crossroads between Spain to the south via Collioure then the Costa Brava and to the west the Garonne valley, Toulouse . Let's not forget to take a tour of the Massif Centrale, land of volcanoes, these virgin territories, the Milles Vaches plateau. The breeding of Salers cows and its Roquefort cheese. Then pass Toulouse the Garonne widens and the Atlantic Coast opens its arms to us. Bordeaux, the immensity of the Landes forest, the Basque Country, Biarritz, the Rhune, between sea and mountains. We branch off to the right, towards the Vendée and its beaches, again sea, sun and holidays. Further north we approach Brittany, Vannes to the south, St Malo to the north, Brest to the west... so many different landscapes that make this region superb. We end with Normandy, land of stud farms, horses, green landscapes. Here we are back at our starting point...without forgetting to visit the most beautiful city in the world, Paris.
Of course this little tour of France is not exhaustive. I apologize for all those that I could not quote, this country is so magnificent that it would take a book to describe it entirely (some have already done so) and that was not my point. Just to make you touch the thousand facets of this country which would take a lifetime to go around.
